FTL is an Indie Game that is just plain awesome

You are a space ship crew that is attempting to get to your fleet before you are caught and destroyed by the rebel armada you mission is to get to your fleet and give them vital information about the rebel fleet itself

 

you fly subsector by subsector encountering a larg amount of different enemies and allies and you have to make it through a total of 8 sectors (7 plus the final sector)

 

on the way you gather scrap (this games currency) and upgrade and modify your ships so your ship can navigate and get through all the dangers of the universe
